Skin sensitivity: Your skin may feel sensitive, like a mild sunburn, but this typically subsides within 48 hours.

Healing process: You might notice temporary darkening of pigmented areas, along with some redness and swelling. These are part of the natural healing process where damaged cells are replaced by new ones, repairing your skin.

Post-treatment care: Follow your provider’s advice, avoid direct sun exposure, and wear broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen to protect the skin, especially during the first 72 hours post-treatment. Depending on the skin’s pre-existing condition, mild discomfort, dryness, or minor crusting may occur.
