Microneedling in Winchester, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a skin rejuvenation treatment using tiny micro-needles to create controlled injuries. These injuries stimulate your body’s natural healing process, increasing collagen production in the treatment area. It also renews the outer layer of skin, for a smoother, brighter complexion.

What to Expect
The Blossom Medical Microneedling Process
1
Step 1
It starts by having a personal consultation with your Blossom Medical provider. They’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. Your provider will also explain possible treatments, and if they determine that microneedling is the best course of action for your skin type and your goals, Blossom Medical will create a custom treatment plan centered around you.
2
Step 2
During your microneedling session, your Blossom Medical provider will remove any makeup and properly cleanse the skin in your treatment area, and then apply a topical numbing cream. Once everything is ready, your provider uses a specialized microneedling instrument to create controlled, tiny micro-wounds in your treatment area. It usually feels similar to tiny prickles when scratching an itch.
3
Step 3
Immediately after your microneedling in Winchester, your skin may feel slightly swollen and have a reddish hue. This quickly goes away. Within 3 to 5 days, there may be some mild skin peeling due to the increased cell turnover. Most patients experience visible signs of improved skin texture and tone within 7 days after treatment.
